Key Ingredients
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
A Rasayana herb that strengthens Mamsa dhatu (muscle tissue), relieves physical exhaustion, and balances Vata, the primary cause of pain and degeneration.
Bala (Sida cordifolia)
Literally meaning “strength,” Bala enhances neuromuscular coordination and rejuvenates tired limbs. Its Snigdha (unctuous) and Balya (tonic) properties make it ideal for Abhyanga.
Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris)
Known for its ability to pacify Vata and Pitta, Gokshur supports healthy joints and reduces inflammation. It also imparts strength to bones and ligaments.
Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia)
A renowned Raktashodhak (blood purifier), Manjishtha also promotes skin health and detoxifies tissues during massage, supporting post-exertion recovery.
Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa)
With its Shothahara (anti-swelling) and Mutrala (diuretic) actions, Punarnava rejuvenates tired legs and helps reduce water retention or puffiness after long days.
Paribhadra / Harsingar (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis)
Traditionally used to relieve joint stiffness and neck/shoulder pain. It is Ushna (warming) in potency and excellent for chronic conditions aggravated by cold weather.
Haldi (Curcuma longa)
This golden root is not only a powerful anti-inflammatory but also improves circulation, detoxifies skin tissues, and revitalizes dull, achy body parts.
Prasarini, Atibala, Arni, Patha, Patala
These potent herbs are included in classical formulations to increase range of motion, reduce Vata-induced stiffness, and strengthen the locomotor system.
