Daily Rituals of Self-Care: The Rajwada Way
Because beauty was once a ritual, not a routine.
In the royal courts of India, self-care was sacred. Each day began not with a rush, but with a rhythm — of warm oils, herbal pastes, and purposeful touch. At Rajwada Secrets, we bring back these forgotten rituals, so you can reclaim time, purity, and connection — with yourself.

The Daily Oil Anointment
Abhyangam
“Snanaartham tailam — oiling is the first step before bathing.”
Abhyangam, the ritual of full-body oil massage, is one of Ayurveda’s most revered practices. It pacifies Vata, improves circulation, detoxifies tissues, and brings deep calm to the nervous system.
How to Perform:
- Warm Mahanarayan Taila or any prescribed oil slightly.
- Apply to the body using slow, firm strokes — towards the heart.
- Let the oil rest for 15–30 minutes to penetrate deep tissues.
- Follow with a warm bath using herbal powders or mild cleansers.
Best Time: Before bath, ideally in the morning.
"The Forgotten Art of Oral Care"
Mukha Shuddhi
The mouth is the gateway to health. Daily care with Dashansanskar Tooth Powder and Khadiradi Oil ensures freshness, strength, and gum integrity.
Ritual Steps:
- Massage Dashansanskar Tooth Powder on teeth and gums using a moist finger or brush.
- Swish Khadiradi Oil in your mouth (oil pulling) for 5–10 minutes and spit it out.
- Rinse with warm water.
Benefits: Prevents bad breath, tightens gums, removes toxins, and sharpens taste perception.

The Foot Massage Ritual
Padabhyangam
“Pada Mardana is as nourishing to the mind as it is to the feet.”
Padabhyangam, or foot massage, is a nighttime ritual that calms the body, grounds the senses, and promotes deep sleep. It activates marma points and balances the nervous system.
How to Perform:
- Take a small amount of warm sesame oil or medicated taila.
- Massage the soles, heels, and toes with circular and stroking motions.
- Focus on the centre of the feet (Kshetrapal marma) for relaxation.
- Wipe off excess oil or wear socks to avoid slipping.
Best Time: Before bedtime.
